Always True Co.

Some of you have been asking me about what this Always True Company thing is: Who they are, why I’m always with them. Put simply, I’m one of their social media interns. Specifically for their Instagram of about 16,000 followers.

Always True Company was started by Drew and Sam Howard, and their friend Kevin Masaro in December 2015. It’s a lifestyle brand that spreads positivity and inspires purpose, encouraging millennials to follow their dreams. This lifestyle is pushed through clothing and an unparalleled level of transparency the Howard brothers and Masaro share with their customers. Their inspiration is rooted in the Howards’ older brother, Brandon K. Howard. He was a rapper, musician and artist, that went by the stage name Always True. He tragically passed away at the young age of 20, but left behind a legacy strong enough to drive the momentum of this brand. Check out their website to read more about their story.

To me, Always True was an answer.

Before Always True, I was internally conflicted: Focus on my passions and true interests or do what I’m “supposed” to do in life? Risk finding myself through new roads or follow the beaten path? Always True validated that I could actually do both; I could focus my energy on school while giving my all into doing what I love most.

I know a lot of you don’t know what you want to do, but that’s okay and it’s totally normal. I’m figuring it out everyday. Always True is for everyone that has ever wanted something, but didn’t believe they could get it. When you wear Always True, you aren’t just wearing a brand; you’re wearing a reason to be. A reason to be honest with yourself, a reason to be a greater version of yourself and a reason to be an inspiration.

I spend a lot of time with them because I’m working to reflect their lifestyle on Instagram. I have to understand it, therefore, live it. It’s easier to achieve your dreams when you’re surrounded by people who crave to succeed like you do. Stay tuned, for more of me and the Always True Company. 1. I have to say; I’m impressed by the concept behind the brand name. It’s not only catchy, but being true is a virtual! Your write up is awesome. Who wouldn’t want to be honest about themselves? Reading this made me reflect on myself and left me wondering what it means to be true.

  2. Everyday Is a learning curve about yourself …. both positive and negative but you build on the positive and learn to correct the negative. Though you are young and you think you have a whole life ahead of you … but as you know life is fragile and unpredictable. So yes, you stay true to yourself and follow your heart and be the best at what you love to do best. Good luck at Always True Company as you help To take the brand to greater heights via social media.

  3. I have known you since third grade. Even then you had a solid sense of yourself. Working with this brand fits😁. I am not a millennial but I am inspired by what I have read and I will continue to follow. I am proud of you and the woman you have become. I feel blessed to have shared a small part of your life. Now get your butt to Oklahoma and see me!

  4. It’s a wonderful reminder at any age, that life is short, do what makes you happy. While that can be difficult for many people (financial hardship is often too real for the artists and “dreamers of the world) perhaps brands like this can not only inspire people to pursue the passion within, but help them achieve it. I hope to see more of this movement. As Joseph Campbell said, “Follow Your Bliss.”
