My name is Jodie Melati Karsono, my friends call me Jodes and this is what I know. Life, like a flower, unfolds in cycles, influencing both our experiences and the garments that decorate us. I believe in continuous growth and learning, much like the ever-changing landscapes of fashion and art.

As a first-generation Asian-American, I've navigated the complexities of self-expression, balancing Americanization with the preservation of my cultural roots. During my formative years in a Florida public high school with strict uniform policies, I felt stifled. Turning to thrift stores, I used fashion as a means of self-expression to carve out my identity. Moving to Denver, I immersed myself in its vibrant music scene and became acutely aware of the environmental crisis facing our planet.

Today, I merge my passions for music, fashion, and environmental conservation to serve and educate my community. Through my brand, I empower fellow artists to express themselves authentically with sustainable clothing options, fostering a deeper connection to ourselves and our planet.
